Introduction
This site outlines the API that allows third-party applications to interact with Mapcom’s suite of products built upon the M4 Solutions platform. The API Knowledge Base contains all necessary information a developer will need to create applications that receive data from and send data to the M4 API. Mapcom is constantly improving M4’s API capabilities. As such, this site will be regularly updated as Mapcom releases new API features. All the endpoints included in the documentation are available in the latest released version of M4. To ensure that specific methods users would like to access are included in their currently installed version of M4, customers can contact api@mapcom.com.
What is the M4 API?
The M4 API is a collection of web services that allows Mapcom to share information with third-party applications. All data sent from and received by the M4 API will be JSON. The API utilizes standard HTTP features such as HTTP authentication and HTTP verbs making integration easy.
